There we were....June 12, 2010 and the USA game of the World Cup was finally here! The anticipation in our house has been building for.......well, since I was born! It was a good morning, we woke up at the crack of dawn and Daddy set up one TV on the back porch and we watched the 7am game and I got to sit in my exersaucer and had a front seat view. We blew the vuvuzelas and cheered on our team! It was a great day and the American boys came to play.
We can't wait for Friday's game, but I am starting to wonder if they will let us watch it at school!
Second half rally!
Ooops, I got so excited I started facing the wrong way!
The vuvuzela is very fun to play with, but I have a some trouble blowing the horn!
Today was my 8 month birthday! I can't believe how old I am getting :) It has been such a fun month. I learned how to scream really loud and really high, I kick so hard I could be dangerous, I started eating more complex pureed foods (like peas and brown rice!), I play with trucks, I went to my first two baseball games, I went to the museum and saw lots of animals (even real bears!), I learned that sleeping through the night is overrated and just like my grandpa I agree that 5am really is the most peaceful time of the day, I learned finger painting at school, I started moving in circles (but not crawling yet!), and......
I also learned that North Carolina is a very, very hot place!
