A Whole New World

This is me on the morning I turned one! It was so fun to celebrate my first full year in this world! My Nana got me out of bed in the morning singing Happy Birthday!

My birthday was very special, and I was able to spend it with very close friends and family. And all my family that wasn't able to be here with me was thinking of me and sent me lots of love.
I am a very lucky boy!

At my party I started walking with my push truck on my own. I also had monkey cupcakes, but I wasn't very interested in eating them. I only like to eat food that is crunchy, so soft cake wasn't very exciting for me! That's okay though, cake is still fun to play with! :)

Playing with my cake!

This monkey kind of looks like me!

Sometimes I think it is more fun to sit on gifts then to open them right away!

364 days old.........

Finally, after tomorrow I can start counting in Years and not days!

To celebrate my 364th day, my Mommy and Daddy had breakfast with me and my friends at school. It was very fun, and we all had a lot of laughs.

Tonight, my Nana, Aunt Ali, Uncle Jeff, and my cousins Lauren and Maddie all celebrated with me on the deck. I laughed and laughed, waved my hands, and threw Cheerios and pears all over the deck.

Now it's time to rest for my big day tomorrow :)

I just love my teacher, Miss Tisha

I love bath time!

Game Day

Sundays are Game Days....A very important day of the week in our house! I am learning this all very fast. I wake up each Sunday to a very excited Daddy and I get ready for the big day by getting in my Matt Ryan jersey and giving Curious George a hug. He wears a Michael Turner jersey, and we cheer on the Falcons together.

Today was a great Game Day....playoffs here we come!

It's been almost a month since my last post, and I've been very busy! Last month I got to meet and see a lot of very special people. My Aunti Archana and Uncle Manu came down from Washington DC for a visit. I have heard so much about them and it was very fun being able to finally meet them in person! Last weekend I finally met another very special friend, Evalina Bee. We stayed with her in New Jersey and she showed me all kinds of new tricks, and brought me to the ocean for the first time! We loved to play together and had very deep conversations...and only we knew what we were saying!

I also got to meet my Aunt Geri, Uncle Arthur and cousins Jeff and Barbara. They graciously invited us to their home in Long Island and it was so fun playing! I have been waiting almost a whole year to meet them! I miss them already.
My first trip to New York and New Jersey was very fun, and my Grandma came all the way from Vermont to spend time with me! I am SUCH a lucky boy. She taught me lots of new things, took me on lots of walks, and read me lots of books.....it was so hard to say good-bye, I just loved our special time together.

Well.....today is game day! My jersey is all washed and waiting for me next to my football. I better go get a morning nap in so I am ready to cheer on my favorite team!

Evalina and I love to play with the same toys at the SAME time!

In our jammies, reading a good book!

A Man on the Move

So much has happened since the last time I wrote! On July 16th I started crawling...and my whole world changed. I feel so independent. I still like to sit on the floor and go in circles, but I also love to explore the house, go up and down the hallway, chase my soccer ball, and follow Mommy and Daddy around the house. I love being a man on the move!

I also got to spend a lot of time with my Nana and Grandpa in July. They taught me all kinds of new tricks, including how to give high five! I like to practice this all the time. And last weekend I took a road trip and got to meet lots of new friends that are so important to my Mommy (and me!)....it was so special! And I saw my old friend Lenox again who is still sweet as ever and very protective of me :)

At my Grandpa and Cee's, I went in the big pool for the first time, and I got to ride in a golf cart! My Daddy is getting me all prepared for football season so he took me to Falcon's training camp and I got to see Matt Ryan (I think Mommy was a little jealous!) I loved my visit, it was so fun!

Well, I am on the move again so until next time.......

Enjoying my time with Nana and Grandpa

Cee is teaching me to swim....I love the pool!!

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July!
We had a great weekend here in Durham. I wore my red, white, and blue and had a fun time celebrating. Lately I have been enjoying taking rides on my truck, trying VERY HARD to crawl, taking naps in my stroller, talking in my own language to anyone or anything that will listen (this includes all my toys and ceiling fans), and I've been staying cool in the pool!

The Vuvuzelas in Durham

There we were....June 12, 2010 and the USA game of the World Cup was finally here! The anticipation in our house has been building for.......well, since I was born! It was a good morning, we woke up at the crack of dawn and Daddy set up one TV on the back porch and we watched the 7am game and I got to sit in my exersaucer and had a front seat view. We blew the vuvuzelas and cheered on our team! It was a great day and the American boys came to play.

We can't wait for Friday's game,
but I am starting to wonder if they will let us watch it at school!

Second half rally!

Ooops, I got so excited I started facing the wrong way!

The vuvuzela is very fun to play with,
but I have a some trouble blowing the horn!

Oh, what a fun, but long day!
